Project 1: Interoperable Smart Lab

Primary Motivation: In rural areas where facilities or experts are scarce, research needs to be conducted remotely or with assistance. Therefore, We have pioneered lab automation that allows a mobile manipulator to conduct laboratory research autonomously. This study included various aspects of the robot laboratory, such as preparation to analysis, control and integration of data, and production.

Overview.

What I did:

(1) Developed and integrated communication network platform between experimental equipments and robot.

(2) Developed design of tool changeable modular mechanical gripper for collaborative robot and application of torque and position control.

(3) Programmed experimental scenarios for collaborative robot.

Demonstration of the designed mechanical gripper.
